BCRTA Operating Statistics

"In 2009, BCRTA continued contracted park-and-ride services, doubled its shuttle ridership and expanded contracted brokerage services, effectively matching service with need..."

Provided 155,824 trips (600 each weekday) in 2009 to/from Butler County park-and-rides and downtown Cincinnati under contract with SORTA/Metro (down from 185,680 in 2008).

Directly provided 24,664 trips in 2009 through BCRTA general public transportation shuttle services (up from 12,226 trips in 2008).

Brokered 7,274 privately provided trips in 2009 under contract (up from 874 trips in 2008).

2010 new services:

Job Shuttle along the I-75 corridor
Middletown-Oxford Shuttle

19 wheelchair lift-equipped buses and minivans in active fleet.

"$2.0 million operating budget for 2010 – sources of funds from federal transportation dollars, passenger fares, and service contracts (no dedicated local tax funds)."
