The Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) is soliciting proposals for demand response scheduling software and hardware.  Your firm is invited to make a proposal.

Interested vendors are requested to register their company for this procurement at http://www.butlercountyrta.com/doing-business.

 

Please send your completed proposal clearly marked "DEMAND RESPONSE SCHEDULING SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE" to the undersigned by 1:00 PM, Hamilton, OH (Eastern) time, July 21st, 2016.  Proposals may be hand delivered or sent by delivery services addressed to:  Manager of Administration, Butler County Regional Transit Authority, 3045 Moser Court, Hamilton, OH 45011.  Mailed proposals should be addressed to:  Manager of Administration, Butler County Regional Transit Authority, 3045 Moser Court, Hamilton, OH.

IV.              Background

BCRTA is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio established by the Butler County Commissioners to provide public transportation for Butler County, Ohio.  BCRTA operates curb-to-curb dial-a-ride service for the general public and under contract with several local agencies.  Other BCRTA services include flexible fixed routes operated by BCRTA in cooperation with Middletown City Transit, fixed route services in Oxford, OH and park-and-ride fixed routes. BCRTA continues to grow high quality public transit services through service contracts, program-specific grants, partnerships and coordination with other regional transportation providers. BCRTA’s current fleet is 100% wheelchair accessible and consists of minivans, light transit vehicles and heavy duty transit vehicles.


 

V.                 Objective
