The BCRTA Community Room is available to community members for group meetings, programs, and events that serve a public purpose.
The Chestnut Station Community Room is located at Chestnut Street Station, 97 W. Chestnut Street, Oxford
The Rentschler Community Room in Hamilton is located at 6 S. 2nd Street, Hamilton
Anyone 18 years or older may reserve the community room. No association or membership with BCRTA is required.
All meetings and events held in the community room must be open to the public and align with the mission and values of the Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA).
The Community Room is Available for:
Community group meetings
Educational programs
Public information sessions
Civic or nonprofit organization gatherings
The Community Room is Not Available for:
Promotion or sale of commercial services
Fundraising purposes
Classes or programs conducted for profit
Events that charge admission, attendance fees, or request donations
General Guidelines
The BCRTA Community Rooms are designed to support public meetings, programs, and events. To ensure a positive experience for all users, the following guidelines apply:
The Chestnut Station community room is furnished with 64 chairs, 32 tables, a podium, and video screens.
The Rentschler Community Room is furnished with 10 tables, 30 chairs, and video screens.
Kitchen space is available upon request.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.
The Chestnut Station community room is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
The Rentschler Community Room is available Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
Reservation requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance and may be scheduled up to three months ahead.
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Groups are responsible for leaving the room clean and in its original condition.
All trash must be properly disposed of in the designated containers.
Decorations or materials may not be attached to walls, ceilings, or equipment without prior approval.
BCRTA equipment and furnishings must remain in the room unless otherwise approved.
Groups must vacate the room promptly at the end of their reserved time.
Groups must comply with all BCRTA facility rules and policies while on site.
Use of the community room does not imply BCRTA endorsement of the group’s purpose, views, or activities.
BCRTA reserves the right to deny or revoke room use privileges for any group or individual who falsifies a reservation request or fails to comply with this policy.
