BCRTA Welcomes GoBus Expansion Connecting Butler County to Statewide Destinations

February 24, 2026

Hamilton, OH — February 24, 2026 — The Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) is excited to announce that the GoBus service will soon expand to include stops throughout Butler County. Beginning March 2, the new Toledo–Cincinnati GoBus route (Red Line) will serve both the Middletown Transit Station and the new Oxford Chestnut Street Station.

This expansion brings greater connectivity to the region—linking Butler County residents to destinations including Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, University of Cincinnati, Dayton RTA, Yellow Springs, and Springfield, where riders can transfer to other GoBus routes for continued statewide travel.

“BCRTA is proud to support this expansion that connects our community to major cities, universities, and resources throughout Ohio,” said Matthew Dutkevicz, BCRTA Executive Director. “With stops at both our Middletown and Oxford stations, riders will have safe, comfortable access to waiting areas, restrooms, and additional transportation options with BCRTA.”

The new GoBus stops are part of an agreement that allows GoBus to use BCRTA’s passenger facilities to better serve local and regional travelers.

Tickets for the Red Line range from $5 to $25 and can be purchased directly at ridegobus.com. The full schedule and route details are also available on the GoBus website.

The Toledo–Cincinnati GoBus expansion represents another step toward expanding transportation access and regional mobility options for Butler County residents.
