Butler County RTA Awarded Veterans Transporatation Contract
February 9, 2026
Butler County, Ohio. The Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) has once again been selected by the Butler County Veterans Service Commission (BCVSC) to provide transportation services for local Veterans. The three-year contract renewal reflects a shared commitment to ensuring Butler County Veterans have access to reliable, timely, and respectful transportation to medical appointments throughout the region.
BCRTA and the Veterans Service Commission have worked together for several years to meet the mobility needs of Butler County’s Veteran community. While BCRTA was officially awarded the full transportation contract in 2023, the agency proudly provided portions of the service for years prior.
“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to serving Veterans with dignity and reliability,” said Mark Farmer, Executive Director of the Butler County Veterans Service Commission. “By working closely with the Butler County Regional Transit Authority, we are making sure Veterans can attend critical medical appointments on time and without added stress. Transportation may seem simple, but for many Veterans it is essential to maintaining their health and independence.”
“It is truly an honor and a privilege to be selected by the Butler County Veterans Service Commission to provide transportation services over the next three years,” said Luke Morgan, Director of Operations at BCRTA. “We are proud to support the men and women who have served our country and remain committed to ensuring they have safe, dependable access to the services they need.”
In recognition of this important partnership, BCRTA proudly honors Butler County Veterans with a specially wrapped bus dedicated to those who have served. The bus serves as a visible reminder of the agency’s gratitude and ongoing commitment to supporting local Veterans.
More information about the service is available on the Butler County Veterans Services Commission’s website.
