Butler County RTA to Upgrade Scheduling Software and Release Two New Mobile Apps.

Hamilton, Ohio- Butler County RTA is upgrading their current scheduling and dispatching software and releasing two new mobile apps; “BCRTA BCare” and “BCRTA BGo” powered by Via. The new apps are available to download on the App Store and Google Play and go into effect on March 1, 2023.
The new scheduling and dispatching software will allow for optimized trip scheduling and efficient routing of transit vehicles. The upgraded system along with the launch of the new apps will provide our riders with an elevated experience through simplified trip bookings, schedule management, and vehicle tracking.
For ADA Paratransit riders, “BCRTA BCare” will be available for download on or before February 24 for booking trips starting March 1. BCRTA BCare trips can be booked by calling customer service or by using the “BCRTA BCare” app. Please note that all next-day trip requests must be received by 6:00pm. This is a change from the current trip booking policy. Existing ADA account users that have been registered on the old BGo app will be able to access their account and ride information through the new “BCRTA BCare” app with their phone or email. Users who do not have an account set up and would like to utilize BCRTA BCare app services will need to contact customer service for assistance.
For Miami University SafeRide users, “BCRTA BGo” is available for download, and can begin booking trips starting March 1, 2023. Existing BGo account users that have been registered on the old BGo app will be able to access their account and ride information through the new “BCRTA BGo” app with their phone or email.
General public BGo riders can download the new “BCRTA BGo” and begin using it on March 1, 2023. BCRTA General public BGO currently does not have trip booking capabilities, but users can still use the app to monitor their bus arrival and trip schedule. BGo riders should call customer service to book their trips. Riders can book up to seven days in advance. Please note this is a change to our current trip booking policy. Anyone who wishes to use the app and does not have an account set up may call customer service for assistance.
