Miami University and BCRTA Execute Lease for Chestnut Street Station

Following several months of negotiation, BCRTA and Miami University have executed a 40-year lease for the construction and operation of the Chestnut Street Multimodal Station and Shared Services Facility. With this lease, Miami Univeristy has provided a portion of several parcels, part of the former Talawanda High School property, now known as 97 W Chestnut Street. Execution of this agreement will allow BCRTA to begin construction of the facility in early 2024 with a planned opening in late 2025.
