Public Notice of Proposed DBE Goal-Setting Roundtable

In accordance with requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation as set forth in 49 C.F.R. Part 26.45, as amended, Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) in Butler County, Ohio, hereby notifies the public that it is hosting a DBE Goal Setting Roundtable to discuss the availability of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBEs, and BCRTA’s efforts to establish a level playing field for the participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). BCRTA will be setting its DBE goal for the applicable professional services, construction, and procurement contracts during fiscal years 2021-2023, beginning October 1, 2020, and ending September 30, 2023. This roundtable will be hosted by Delene Weidner, Director of Finance and Administration/DBE Liaison Officer, virtually via Microsoft Teams on August 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Minority business owners, women’s and general contractor groups, community organizations, and other officials or organizations are encouraged to attend by calling the number below or clicking the link:
